Joe Krunkosky Biography

Joe Krunkosky, or "Mr. K," opened the Martinsville Music Lessons Studio in 1983 as a way to pass on his love for music and learning after graduating from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pa. That same year, he began teaching instrumental music in the Bridegewater-Raritan Regional School District to grades four and five and took on the role of Assistant Band Director. In January 1986, he moved to Middlesex, N.J.'s Von E. Mauger

Middle School where he provided instrumental instruction and general music instruction for grades six, seven and eight. Today, Mr. K currently teaches 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade music at Mauger Middle School. He is proud of his hundreds of musical alumni, especially the many who have continued to pursue and enhance their musical abilities in high school, college and beyond.
